In a cloud of dust, she had captured the foal a mere few yards from our vehicle. Cynthie has traveled to Africa fifteen times, she had never seen s successful hunt within easy viewing distance. It was stunning, and it all happened so fast. For those of you that might be squeamish about this part of the life cycle... there is a reason we have these big beautiful cats on earth, and they did not evolve to this stage by eating grass. Hard to watch, but a powerful part of the circle.
