Five weeks in Patagonia (Nov/Dec 07)...we met some wonderful people and gathered enough research for a lifetime of inspirations for sculptures and paintings both.
We basically 'winged' it, flying into Buenos Aires for one night, then straight down to the southern tip of Tierra Del Fuego, making our way back up the Chilean coastline, then back across the Andes to the east coast of Argentina. The trip was a combination of rental cars, flights, bus rides, ferry rides, but no hitch-hiking (although I felt very safe there!). Fantastic trip, ready to go again.
